What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Access Control Technician position at Tekk Force LLC?
Currently seeking a Licensed Security Technician to fill an opening in the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area.
The ideal candidate will possess a State of Texas Security License and have 2 years of CCTV, Alarm, Fire and Access Control installation experience.
Responsibilities of the Security Technician:
- Install Access Control, CCTV, and Burglar Alarm
- Communicate with customer during the installation process and status of the job, schedule changes, delays, RFI's, systems testing.
- Communicate with customer before installation process to help them select the best products.
- Ensure assigned installations are completed on-time and within budget.
- Maintain and submit accurate paperwork and documentation.
- Install and integrate of maglocks, electrified strikes, card readers, door contacts, and access control panels.
- Mount panels, field devices, computers, power supplies.
- Responsible for programming, set-up, testing systems.
- Experience with Avigilon systems preferred.
Requirements of the Security Technician:
- State of Texas Security License
- 2 years of CCTV, Alarm, and Access Control installation experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Clean background and able to pass a drug test
- Submit professional references to verify work history
- Have basic hand tools
- Possess a reliable vehicle and have a valid driver’s license
Pay will be based upon experience.
