Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a variety of heavy equipment and machinery.
Duties:
- Operate and maintain equipment such as graders, dump trucks, loaders, tankers, water trucks, and bulldozers
- Perform tasks including digging, heavy equipment operation, horizontal drilling, and other related activities
- Ensure equipment is in good working condition by conducting regular inspections and maintenance
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines at all times to prevent accidents or injuries
- Complete assigned tasks efficiently and within specified timeframes
Assisting in various construction and maintenance projects
- Operating and maintaining equipment and tools
- Loading and unloading materials and supplies
- Digging, carrying, and moving heavy objects
- Performing general maintenance and repairs
- Assisting skilled workers, as needed
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in operating heavy equipment including graders, dump trucks, loaders, tankers, water trucks, and bulldozers
- Familiarity with various construction tasks such as digging, heavy equipment operation, horizontal drilling
- Mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor issues with equipment
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently when required
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety procedures
