What are the responsibilities and job description for the Industrial Construction Superintendent position at Tekko Enterprises, Inc.?
Tekko Enterprises, Inc., is looking for an Industrial Supervisor, with heavy equipment experience. The position will need experience in the following fields; Millwright/Steel Erectors, Welders, and Pipefitters. This position is located in the Ogden, SLC, and Tooele, Utah regions for all construction projects being performed in these areas.
Millwrights with experience in structural steel
Experience in construction, industrial maintenance, welding, and pipe-fitting
Knowledge of working with cranes and heavy equipment preferred.
Welders must have welding certifications and be able to perform and pass a pre-hire welding test.
Pipefitters must have experience in assembling, welding, and installing process piping systems and supports. Piping experience for both underground and above-ground systems is required.
Experience with industrial production, process equipment, and systems is a plus.
Must be mechanically inclined with a willingness to learn.
Must be able to work at heights, and confined spaces.
The candidate must have the ability to read and understand project plans, be self-motivated, and be able to give and take directions.
Must have knowledge of OSHA regulations and have an OSHA 10 (MSHA Certifications a plus).
A minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry preferred
Experience in a leadership position in an industrial setting.
All candidates must be able to pass a pre-screen drug and alcohol test
Must have a valid driver’s license and transportation.
