What are the responsibilities and job description for the E-130J Flight Test Engineer (Journey) position at Tekla Research?
Supports developmental test and evaluation of communications and network systems for the E-130IJ Integrated Test Team. Applies engineering principles to research, analyze, plan, design, develop, implement, test, or evaluate systems. Reviews and prepares engineering and technical analyses, reports, change proposals, and other technical documentation. This position applies engineering experience to perform functions such as system integration, design, configuration management, quality assurance testing, or acquisition and resource management.
Education: Bachelor's degree in an Engineering or related technical field for a scientist is required.
Job Related Experience: Three years' experience performing related engineering, mission systems, and/or technical work. Three years NAVAIR, NAWCAD experience.
Other Desired Experience: Three years' experience assisting more senior positions performing functional duties of a similar position. A journeyman employee level person typically performs all functional duties independently.
*A related field Master’s Degree may be substituted for 2 years of work experience.
A Top Secret SCI clearance is required.
