Overview:
The Sr. Manager, Global Compensation is responsible for executing and optimizing global compensation strategies at TekniPlex. This role ensures that compensation and benefits programs enhance the employee experience, align with market trends, and remain cost-effective. The ideal candidate will analyze, design, and implement compensation programs and workflows while providing strategic recommendations to drive organizational success. Additionally, this role serves as a key liaison with external partners and vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expertise in compensation strategies for position changes, including new roles, promotions, and organizational adjustments, through data analysis and modeling.
- Lead global compensation processes, including salary and bonus planning, compensation survey submissions, and benefits program introductions.
- Own and enhance the merit and bonus planning system, ensuring effective training, communication, and system improvements.
- Conduct internal equity and external market competitiveness analyses across various compensation components (e.g., base salary, bonuses, shift differentials, geographic differentials, and recognition programs).
- Manage job evaluations, pay grade assignments, and job description development.
- Utilize and submit data to external compensation surveys to maintain competitive pay structures.
- Assist in the design and implementation of variable compensation programs, including sales and hourly incentive plans.
- Collaborate with leadership and HR teams to integrate compensation structures during mergers and acquisitions.
- Maintain and improve employee recognition programs.
- Support compensation-related inquiries and projects across the global HR team.
- Foster and manage relationships with external vendors and consultants.
- Develop and refine compensation policies to align with business objectives.

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required.
- Minimum of eight (8) years of HR or compensation experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in a large, global corporate manufacturing environment is a plus.
Language Skills:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English; Spanish proficiency is a plus.
Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to analyze complex data, identify trends, and provide strategic recommendations.
- Strong decision-making skills in dynamic situations.
Physical Demands:
- Regularly required to sit, use hands, talk, and hear.
- Occasionally required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms.
