Duties and Responsibilities:
Seeking an Intern to join our Supply Chain team. In this internship project, you will play a pivotal role in the implementation of Anaplan, a cutting-edge cloud-based planning and performance management platform. Our mission is to revolutionize pricing strategies for finished goods by leveraging projected raw material costs. This project is designed to empower decision-making, enhance pricing accuracy, and significantly boost profitability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage with key stakeholders to gather insights on data entry needs and project objectives, laying the groundwork for success.
- Collaborate closely with Anaplan specialists to construct a cutting-edge pricing model that integrates raw material costs, delivering impactful finished goods pricing.
- Be involved in conducting training sessions for team members to ensure they are fully equipped to navigate and utilize Anaplan effectively.
- Contribute to thorough testing of the model to confirm the accuracy of pricing outputs against historical data, establishing a reliable basis for decision-making.
- Assist in the system's rollout for active use and closely monitor performance, adapting strategies based on user feedback to optimize results.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a degree program related to data analytics, finance, or supply chain
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- An analytical mindset with the ability to tackle problems logically.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team, or a willingness to learn and improve your communication.
- Must be on site in RI.
