Pay range: $22.00 – $35.00 per hour depending upon experience.
You will be responsible for performing the following duties:
- Understand and follow all safety procedures.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical equipment including pumps, motors, gearboxes, extruders and other production equipment.
- Perform equipment PMs and complete work using CMMS software.
- Have general knowledge of boiler room/facilities equipment such as boilers, pumps, de-aerator, air compressors, chiller, dryers & HVAC.
- Fabricate parts, weld, cut and install metalwork.
- Operate maintenance shop equipment and hand tools
- Read & interpret documentation such as drawings, manuals and technical bulletins.
- Other duties and related responsibilities as required
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write reports and correspondences. Ability to speak effectively.
Education and/or work experience:
- Minimum 2 years of related experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Extrusion experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs
- Must be able to work on top of silos & tanks with proper PPE
- Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on the phone
