The Role
We are seeking a skilled maintenance technician to join our team. As a maintenance technician, you will be responsible for:
- Ensuring safety procedures are followed at all times.
- Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment, including pumps, motors, gearboxes, extruders, and other production equipment.
- Performing equipment PMs and completing work using CMMS software.
- Having general knowledge of boiler room/facilities equipment such as boilers, pumps, de-aerator, air compressors, chiller, dryers, and HVAC.
- Fabricating parts, welding, cutting, and installing metalwork.
- Operating maintenance shop equipment and hand tools.
- Reading and interpreting documentation such as drawings, manuals, and technical bulletins.
- Other duties and related responsibilities as required.
Requirements
- A minimum of 2 years of related experience.
- A high school diploma or GED.
- Extrusion experience is preferred.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work on top of silos and tanks with proper PPE.
- Ability to talk, listen, and speak clearly on the phone.
