Become a vital player in our custom compound creation process.
Your Duties Include:
- Analyze the production schedule to determine hose assembly tasks and table allocations.
- Evaluate raw materials by examining the Batch Card for your work station.
- Confirm Automatic Counter settings match the sequential hose length requirements.
- Activate the cutter machine via the pedal to commence hose processing.
- Integrate fittings on expander machines, join hoses and fittings, use the foot pedal to engage expander, remove the hose and continue the cycle.
a) Engage the male hose end in the winding device, coil the hose, label it, secure the coil with straps, inspect, assemble cartons, apply side labels, and package the coil.
b) Replicate steps until cartons hold the assigned number of hoses, then move them onto the conveyor.
Proficiencies / Prerequisites:
- Identifying and resolving quality issues efficiently.
- Achieving or surpassing business productivity objectives.
- Maintaining detailed and accurate production logs.
- Strict compliance with safety directives.
- Execute responsibilities as appropriate or directed by management.
- Prepare samples, manage orders, and oversee carton labeling duties.
- Employ computerized label systems for carton labeling generation.
- Execute full spectrum quality inspections inclusive of length assessments.
- Capability to impart process knowledge to colleagues.
- Demonstrate operational decisions essential for sustaining production levels.
Execute various responsibilities as necessary or directed by supervisors.
Deliver operational supplies to tables as required for process continuity.
Supply unassembled cartons to finishing units as needed.
Comprehend detailed quality expectations necessary for handling product returns.
- High school diploma or equivalent level of literacy and numeracy.
- Capacity to work independently, with self-direction to meet tight deadlines.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, squat, and move as required, including lifting up to 35 pounds.
- Excellent manual dexterity and physical coordination.
