Title: Automotive CAD Engineer

Location: Raymond, OH

Duration: 12 Months on W2 Contract

Job Summary: The Automotive Design Engineer will design and develop automotive components and systems, ensuring they meet performance, safety, and cost requirements. This role involves creativity, technical expertise, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Design automotive components and systems using CAD software, including Unigraphics.
• Develop and test prototypes, analyzing results and making necessary modifications.
• Manage design projects from concept to production, ensuring timelines and budgets are met.
• Stay updated with industry trends and technologies, continuously seeking improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate project status to stakeholders.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in automotive design engineering.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., Unigraphics, CATIA, SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience with simulation and analysis software.
• Knowledge of electric and hybrid vehicle systems.
• Relevant certifications and project management experience.
