Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Design Engineer to join our team on a 12-month contract basis. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing engineering solutions to meet product requirements and project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and create design concepts and models using CAD software, ensuring that all designs meet technical specifications and company standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, manufacturing, and quality, to refine product designs and support project timelines.
• Perform design calculations, simulations, and analysis to validate product performance and ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Prepare detailed technical drawings, 3D models, and design documentation for review and approval.
• Conduct testing and prototyping of design concepts to evaluate performance, identify issues, and implement improvements.
• Participate in design reviews and provide input on design feasibility, manufacturability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Support project management activities, including project tracking, status updates, and coordination with stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards throughout the design process.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3 years of experience in design engineering, preferably in a manufacturing or product development environment.
• Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar design tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to conduct simulations and testing.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with team members.
• Knowledge of industry standards and best practices in design engineering.
• Experience working with project management software and tools is a plus.
