Key Responsibilities
- Help create and run programs that keep the workplace safe and environmentally friendly, making sure we meet all relevant standards.
- Support and maintain our ISO 14001 certification, which is a standard for effective environmental management.
- Organize and manage all EHS-related documents, like procedures and forms. This includes updating and getting approvals for these documents.
- Regularly check the workplace for safety and environmental issues, and suggest improvements.
- Check how well our EHS programs are working and recommend changes to make them better.
- Run safety training sessions for new hires, specialized topics, and refresher courses.
- Teach staff about safety, emergency response, and environmental issues.
- Help managers and supervisors implement safety measures and build a safety-focused culture.
- Keep up with current safety and environmental regulations and best practices.
- Make sure we follow all laws and requirements related to safety and the environment.
- Create and submit reports on safety performance and incidents.
- Help investigate accidents, figure out what went wrong, and implement solutions.
- Oversee site EHS data, including safety data sheets and other records.
- Identify potential hazards in the workplace and assess risks.
- Create and implement safety measures to address identified risks.
- Work with different teams to ensure safety measures are integrated into work processes and equipment.
- Encourage a positive safety culture by engaging employees and holding them accountable.
- Clearly communicate safety policies and updates to everyone in the company.
- Be available to answer questions and address concerns related to EHS.
