Key Skills Required
- GMP Manufacturing Support: Knowledge of Viral Vector, Cell and Gene Therapy, or microbial/mammalian processing.
- Advanced Biological Processes: Cellular biology, cell culture, scale-up, mass transfer, bioreactor operations, depth filtration, tangential flow filtration, chromatography, viral filtration.
- Process Integration: Technology transfer, buffer and media production, cell thaw, culturing, harvesting, purification, bulk filling.
- Analytical & Process Skills: Root cause analysis (Five Why, Kepner-Tregoe, Fishbone, Pareto, Scatter plotting, DMAIC), risk assessments (FMA, FMEA, HAZOP, HACCP).
- Critical Thinking & Communication: Ability to clearly explain technical issues, demonstrate decision-making, and provide solutions for cross-functional teams.
- Project Leadership: Experience managing small projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams, and meeting objectives.
- Attention to Detail: High accuracy in processes, technical writing, and reporting.
- Statistical Data Analysis: Familiarity with basic statistical analysis preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related science field required; Master’s or Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Biotechnology, or other life science fields preferred.
