Role: Industrial Engineer

Location: Normal, IL (Onsite)

Duration: 12 Months Contract

Job Description

• Must have 7 years of experience in Industrial Engineering worked in automotive industry
• Must have 3 years of experience with Power BI skills.
• Must have automotive domain experience
• Candidate should also have good project management skills
• Should have experience in Time Study, Line balancing, VA / NVA analysis, Value Stream Mapping, Layout Planning (AutoCAD)
• Good to have MODAPTS experience and he should have worked in Continuous improvement projects.
• Proficiency in Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
• Utilize Power BI to collect, analyze, and interpret data to provide actionable insights.
• Strong knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and process improvement methodologies.
• Implement Lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and enhance productivity.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Design and improve manufacturing systems and processes to increase efficiency.
• Conduct time studies and work measurements to support labor and process improvements.
• Develop dashboards and reports to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Use data to drive decision-making and process improvements
• Lead and manage projects focused on process optimization and efficiency improvements
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure project goals are met on time and within budget.
• Track project progress and report on key milestones and deliverables
• Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency gains.
• Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives, such as reducing downtime and optimizing resource allocation.
• Monitor and report on the financial impact of implemented changes.
