Telematics Program Management:
Lead Telematics programs, defining milestones, resource allocation, and ensuring on-time, high-quality project delivery.
Develop long-term roadmaps for embedded systems projects and manage cross-functional efforts.
Manage technical relationships with vendors to ensure alignment and unblock dependencies.
Technical Leadership:
Work with large, cross-functional teams, providing technical direction and resolving architectural challenges.
Influence technical decisions, propose alternatives, and guide teams to achieve optimal efficiency.
Collaborate with engineering teams to estimate work efforts, define milestones, and manage resources.
Agile and Scrum Management:
Facilitate Agile ceremonies such as daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Implement and follow agile processes to optimize project management and delivery.
Risk and Issue Management:
Proactively identify project risks and roadblocks, resolving them to maintain project momentum.
Track progress, communicate status updates, and manage issue escalations.
Stakeholder Communication:
Regularly communicate project schedules, priorities, and updates to all levels, including upper management and external stakeholders.
Provide clear, timely reports and dashboards that reflect project progress, risks, and performance metrics.
Required Qualifications
Education: MS/BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields, or equivalent experience.
Experience:
7 years of Program Management experience on technical, cross-functional projects.
10 years of experience with embedded systems and software development for highly reliable systems.
Deep knowledge of Telematics Control Units (TCUs), over-the-air updates, firmware, wireless communication technologies (LTE/WiFi), and operating systems.
Technical Expertise:
Proficiency with embedded systems technologies, including SOC, BSP, ASIC design, and firmware development.
Experience with networking, IP design, and telematics control systems.
Familiarity with Agile tools like Jira and Confluence for managing projects and tracking progress.
Soft Skills:
Strong communication skills with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and risk management skills.
Leadership presence that inspires and motivates teams to achieve project goals.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in managing over-the-air updates systems and application development in the automotive or electric vehicle industry.
Familiarity with robotics systems and other advanced embedded systems technologies.
Demonstrated experience in managing large-scale technical projects with complex interdependencies.
