We are seeking a Mechanical Engineer with expertise in automotive design and development. You will work on the design, testing, and refinement of automotive components, from powertrain and chassis to interior and exterior systems, ensuring they meet performance, safety, and durability standards.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop automotive components and systems, utilizing CAD tools and simulation software.
- Perform FEA (Finite Element Analysis) and other simulations to validate designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on new vehicle development projects, ensuring designs meet regulatory and customer requirements.
- Develop and test prototypes, analyze data, and implement design improvements.
- Ensure designs comply with automotive industry standards and safety regulations.
- Maintain documentation of design changes and communicate with suppliers and manufacturing teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in automotive design and development.
- Proficiency in CAD software (CATIA, SolidWorks) and knowledge of FEA.
- Familiarity with GD&T, materials science, and automotive industry standards.
