Job Description
- Must Have Experience:
- In Life Sciences industry (Biotech, Pharma, Med Device)
- Regulatory standards (ie: ASTM, ISTA, ISO, etc.)
- Packaging qualification processes (ie: distribution simulation testing , human factors & usability testing, child resistance and adult friendly testing)
- Familiar with industry terminology, norms, language, systems
- Skills Required :
- Soft skillsets – Highly motivated, entrepreneurial spirit, comfortable leading activities, tasks and a team of Testing Engineers and interns. Able to provide mentorship & guidance to younger team members. This is a 100% on site supervisory role.
- Technical skillsets – Strong project management, technical documentation competencies, report writing, package design & prototyping, cross-functional partnership & collaborative. SME level understanding of pharmaceutical packaging development and package performance testing.
- Day-to-day duties may consist of direct client consultations, design reviews, Root Cause Analysis, calls with package testing vendors, cross-collaboration with team to execute necessary tests, and assistance with developing new hire training materials for the Test Services program.
- Close collaboration with on site Package Design and Engineering teams to help onboard new client projects and support with various package performance testing services.
- Assist in the planning and deployment of new onsite Package Testing Lab to enhance PCI’s packaging performance feasibility testing capabilities.
