Description
- Provide root cause analysis of design, process, and quality issues found on the production floor during prototype builds.
- Evaluate and provide design feedback for ease of manufacturing and assembly.
- Execute production readiness builds.
- Create line layouts, develop manufacturing assembly processes, and validate processes/documents for release.
- Design and implement production test fixtures, assembly jigs, and tools.
- Assist and lead continuous improvement initiatives through Lean methodologies.
- Provide support in the dispositioning of discrepant material.
- Create new and update existing process documentation.
- Provide training and technical support as required to enhance the skills of engineers, technicians, and operators.
- Perform other duties as required to support the needs of the business.
- BS/BA degree in Management, Operations, Engineering, or a closely related field.
