Role: Process Specialist

Location: Athens, GA

Duration: Long Term

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for manufacturing processes (API, medical device raw materials/components).
• Investigate and resolve production issues, ensuring compliance with regulations.
• Lead process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
• Support capital projects, process validation, and GMP documentation.
• Work with cross-functional teams to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor and analyze key process parameters, troubleshoot issues, and recommend improvements.
  
  

Requirements:

• High school diploma/GED 2 years of technical training (Bachelor’s degree in Science preferred).
• 4-6 years of experience in chemical, pharmaceutical, or medical device manufacturing.
• Familiarity with SAP and manufacturing processes.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
• Knowledge of GMP, FDA regulations, and manufacturing equipment.
  
  

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with SAP, Minitab, and process control systems.
• Understanding of Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects.
  
  

Additional Info:

• Occasional off-shift work and on-call support may be required.
• Travel up to 10%.
