Responsibilities
- Conduct failure analysis of biomedical implant devices.
- Perform circuit analysis and electrical engineering tasks.
- Collaborate with engineers and Bio Lab on investigations.
- Prepare technical reports for regulatory compliance.
- Adhere to lab safety protocols, including PPE.
- Strong knowledge of electrical engineering, including circuit analysis and component-level failure analysis.
- Biomedical engineering with a focus on electrical systems is considered.
- Proficiency in technical writing for reports.
- Degree in Electrical or Biomedical Engineering with a focus on electrical systems.
- Experience in medical devices, post-market support, or failure analysis.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Biomedical Engineering.
- Entry-level position with up to 2 years of experience through internships or co-op roles.
- Phone screening followed by in-person or video interviews for non-local candidates.
- Circuit analysis, schematics, soldering, and familiarity with failure analysis and technical writing.
