Role: Project Manager II

Location: Waukegan, IL - 60085

Duration: 11 Months on W2

Shift Timings: 8 AM to 5 PM

Role Type: 100% Onsite role; no remote or hybrid options.

Skills Looking For

• The role will focus on a hardware upgrade project, specifically related to Symphony, the SAP ECC instance at the company.
• The project is set to begin in mid-September, and the person will be deeply involved in project meetings, workshops, and daily standups.
• They will work closely with the Symphony team, IT, and various internal and external partners.
• Strong technical background, particularly in HP-UX and Linux, with experience in OSB migrations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders, including the ability to interact with different levels and types of stakeholders.
• Some soft skills are necessary due to the nature of the project, with an emphasis on technical expertise.
• Software Requirements: Proficiency in HP-UX and Linux ; Understanding of systems infrastructure and architecture, especially related to OSB migrations.
• Day to Day Responsibilities: Participate in daily standups, workshops, and all relevant project meetings; Collaborate closely with the Symphony team, infrastructure teams, and system implementation partners; Manage stakeholder interactions and ensure clear communication between different teams and vendors.
  
  

Education And Level Of Experience

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 12 years of experience, with a focus on technical roles like Solution Architect or Project Manager.
• Overqualification Criteria: Overqualification is not a concern. Candidates with more experience, even up to 20 years, are welcome as long as they are comfortable with an individual contributor role.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Experience in regulated industries, particularly healthcare or medical devices, due to the specific documentation and regulatory requirements.
• Familiarity with SAP is a plus, though not mandatory.
