Title: Quality Inspector

Location: Erie PA | ONSITE

Contract: 6-month contract (possible temp to hire after 6 months)

Responsibilities And Duties

  • Firm knowledge and understanding of ASME B 31.3
  • Understanding welding symbols, tolerance, defects
  • Interpreting radiographic film of weld joints/roots
  • Experience with and ability to maintain ISO 9001 certified system (company rep)
  • Ability to perform visual inspections and hydro
  • Annual calibration log/record up keeping
  • Weekly meeting and review with our 3 rd. Party A.I. (Authorized Inspector from HSB)
  • Creating and tracking weld maps
  • Understanding and firm knowledge of weld specs
  • Annual review with HSB (Hartford Steam Boiler) to stay ASME certified
