- Implement Corporate Category Strategy: Execute strategies for fast-paced Marketing & Sales categories across the US market.
- Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with local suppliers; conduct Business Review Meetings and manage KPIs to address potential issues early.
- Risk Management: Evaluate sourcing risks, develop risk mitigation measures, and manage exposure.
- Market Intelligence: Leverage market knowledge and innovation to enhance sourcing strategies and optimize buying channels.
- Contract Management: Negotiate, review, and execute contracts, utilizing Master Services Agreements (MSAs) or Frame Services Agreements (FSAs) when applicable.
- Supplier Performance Management: Oversee supplier performance in assigned categories, incorporating supplier diversity initiatives.
- Collaboration: Actively manage local Business Partners, ensuring alignment of goals and proper information sharing to support business needs.
- Sourcing Tools & Techniques: Utilize e-sourcing, reverse auction, and parallel negotiation to optimize sourcing processes.
- Regional Projects: Lead and drive regional sourcing projects where applicable.
- Coaching & Compliance: Coach internal teams on sourcing policies and ensure compliance with company standards and regulations.
- 10 years of experience in Sourcing, with a focus on the Pharmaceutical Industry.
- Proven expertise in Marketing & Sales, Creative Services, Data Analytic Services, Market Access, and/or Public Relations (PR).
- Knowledge of evidence generation, AI, and machine learning in the context of sourcing and supplier management.
- Strong proficiency in demand management, market analysis, negotiation, risk evaluation, and contract management.
- Ability to evaluate total cost of ownership (TCO), deliver cost savings, and manage complex sourcing projects.
- Experience with change management and driving teams to consensus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-centric mindset.
- Strong project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams.
- Compliance-focused with attention to regulatory and corporate sourcing guidelines.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution in Science, Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Certification or proven experience in Project Management.
