Supplier Collaboration
- Partner with suppliers, particularly Kimball, to align and ensure compliance with Philips’ quality procedures.
- Ensure protocols and processes are cross-verified between Philips and suppliers to maintain consistent quality standards.
- Provide quality oversight for plant and line transfers, ensuring all quality requirements are met throughout the process.
- Develop and implement quality protocols to facilitate seamless transitions during plant and line transfers.
- Generate detailed quality assurance and control protocols that meet both regulatory and company requirements.
- Design and maintain audit and inspection checklists to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Develop audit checklists and conduct supplier audits to assess their compliance with Philips’ standards.
- Implement and oversee incoming inspection processes to ensure all components meet required specifications.
- Collaborate with suppliers to identify and implement quality improvement initiatives.
- Conduct root cause analysis and develop corrective action plans to resolve quality issues efficiently.
- Document all quality-related activities, including protocols, procedures, and audit findings, thoroughly and accurately.
- Provide regular reports to management regarding supplier performance and quality metrics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience as a Supplier Quality Engineer, with specific experience in plant and line transfers.
- Proven experience in protocol generation and supplier collaboration.
- Strong knowledge of quality assurance processes, supplier management, and regulatory compliance.
- Familiarity with Kimball or similar suppliers is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in cross-functional teams.
- Ability to develop detailed protocols, audit checklists, and thorough documentation.
- Experience in the medical device or healthcare industry is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with Philips' procedures and quality standards is advantageous.
