Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform regular maintenance, thorough inspections, and precise repairs on production tools, especially CNC and grinding machines.
- Solve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues efficiently.
- Engage in preventive maintenance to reduce downtime and bolster machinery longevity.
- Address urgent maintenance calls promptly to avoid production delays.
- Work hand-in-hand with engineering and production teams to ensure optimal equipment functionality and seek continuous improvement avenues.
- Document and maintain meticulous maintenance records and details of repairs and parts utilized.
- Always adhere to and promote safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
- Contribute to equipment installations, enhancements, and adjustments as needed.
- Assess machine efficiency and propose enhancements to boost productivity.
Candidate Qualifications
- Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent is mandatory; however, technical certification or advanced vocational training in industrial maintenance is desired.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a manufacturing maintenance role, with a preference toward CNC machining expertise.
- Comprehensive understanding of mechanical systems, including CNC systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electronics.
- Skilled in interpreting blueprints, schematics, and manuals.
- Competence in utilizing hand tools, power apparatuses, and diagnostic equipment.
- Outstanding problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Capable of working both autonomously and collaboratively with a team.
- Unwavering commitment to safety standards and meticulous attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work extra hours or weekends as the job demands.
