Role Objectives
- Resolve and identify issues related to mechanical, electrical, and control systems specific to CNC machines.
- Execute repairs and execute preventative maintenance tasks on lathes, mills, and machining centers.
- Ensure peak machine performance by installing, calibrating, and testing CNC tools.
- Analyze and apply information from schematics, blueprints, and technical guides.
- Extend technical support and convey training to clients regarding machine operation and upkeep.
- Document service interactions and compile detailed reports meticulously.
- Visit client locations when required, potentially involving overnight stays.
- Comply with all safety protocols and industry standards diligently.
Must-Have Competencies
- 3-5 years demonstrated expertise in maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing CNC apparatus.
- Robust grasp of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Adeptness in interpreting electrical blueprints and mechanical schemata.
- Familiarity with CNC control systems like Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain, or Mitsubishi.
- Self-driven with skills in independent work and time management.
- Exemplary communication prowess and customer relationship-building capabilities.
- Eagerness to travel substantially, occasionally at short notice.
- Possess a current driver’s license and able to pass mandatory background checks.
