We are hiring an experienced OD/ID Grinder to join our aerospace manufacturing team. This is a 1st shift, direct hire opportunity offering competitive pay and long-term career growth in a precision-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate OD and ID grinding machines to achieve tight tolerances
- Read and interpret blueprints, GD&T, and work instructions
- Inspect finished parts using micrometers, bore gauges, and other precision instruments
- Perform routine maintenance and adjust grinding equipment for optimal performance
- Work with aerospace-grade materials, including hardened steels and exotic alloys
- Ensure compliance with aerospace quality standards
Qualifications:
- Ability to grind parts to tight tolerances ( /- .0001")
- Strong understanding of grinding speeds, feeds, and wheel dressing
- Proficiency with precision measuring tools
- CNC grinding experience is a plus
