Your expertise in direct manufacturing automation design will be invaluable in driving our company's growth and success.
Responsibilities:
- Design automation systems using electronic controls, pneumatic actuators, mechanical systems, and operator interfaces
- Develop new automation concepts and improve existing products
- Create prototypes and production drawings
- Evaluate products for cost efficiency and reliability
- Set project schedules and provide technical support to other engineers and departments
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
- At least 5 years of recent mechanical design experience in manufacturing and automation
- Proficiency in Solid Works
- Strong design skills, both at the component level and in complete machine & systems design
