Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Quality Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in quality management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and customer-specific requirements.
- Lead PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan, and Process Flow Diagram development to ensure robust quality planning.
- Manage internal and external audits, including IATF 16949 audits, customer audits, and supplier audits.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to ensure process capability, root cause analysis, and problem-solving.
- Lead APQP efforts for new product launches.
- Establish and monitor KPIs for quality, such as scrap rates, first-pass yield, and customer complaints.
- Provide leadership and training to the quality team and other departments on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Interface with customers and suppliers regarding quality-related concerns.
Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field, along with ~5 years of quality management experience in an automotive machining or manufacturing environment. You should also possess proficiency in problem-solving tools and familiarity with ISO 9001 and customer-specific quality requirements.
