TekPro Manufacturing is a leading manufacturer of high-precision machinery, and we are seeking an experienced Field Service Representative to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and Diagnose Complex Issues: Utilize your technical expertise to identify and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control system issues in CNC machines.
- Perform Repairs and Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on a variety of CNC equipment, including lathes, mills, and machining centers.
- Install, Calibrate, and Test Machinery: Ensure optimal performance of CNC machinery by installing, calibrating, and testing it according to industry standards.
- Provide Technical Support and Training: Offer expert guidance and training to customers on proper machine operation and maintenance.
- Maintain Detailed Service Records: Accurately document all service activities and maintain detailed records for future reference.
- Travel to Customer Sites: Visit customer sites as required, which may involve overnight travel.
- Adhere to Safety Guidelines: Prioritize safety at all times and adhere to industry best practices.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Minimum 3-5 Years of Experience: Possess a strong background in CNC machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair.
- Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic, and Pneumatic Systems Expertise: Demonstrate a solid understanding of these systems and their interactions.
- Proficiency in Reading Schematics and Drawings: Be able to interpret electrical schematics and mechanical drawings with ease.
- CNC Controls Proficiency: Have experience working with CNC controls such as Fanuc, Siemens, Heidenhain, or Mitsubishi.
- Strong Communication and Customer Service Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers.
- Ability to Work Independently: Be self-motivated and able to manage time effectively.
- Valid Driver's License: Hold a valid driver's license and be willing to pass background checks.
