We are seeking a highly skilled CNC machinist to join our client's team in a hands-on machining environment.
This role offers the opportunity to work on one-off aerospace components and precision production parts, requiring expertise in manual programming, setup, and operation of CNC mills and CNC lathes.
- Program and operate CNC mills (3-4 axis VMC) and CNC lathes (2-4 axis) to machine precision aerospace prototypes and production components.
- Perform manual programming using G-Code and M-Code, optimizing machining operations for accuracy and efficiency.
- Set up machines for both prototype and production runs, ensuring proper tooling, workholding, and alignment.
- Interpret and apply GD&T principles to accurately machine parts per engineering drawings and specifications.
