Senior or Chief Estimator/PM Expertise
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Electrical Estimator/Project Manager to oversee and manage all aspects of electrical projects, including design, planning, scheduling, and implementation. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical estimating and project management, with a proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage electrical projects from conception to completion, ensuring accurate cost estimation and timely delivery.
- Prepare detailed project cost estimates and proposals, utilizing expertise in electrical systems and cost estimating.
- Collaborate with project stakeholders, including clients, architects, and engineers, to ensure project requirements are met and potential issues are anticipated and addressed.
- Monitor project progress, making necessary adjustments as needed, to ensure work is on schedule and within budget.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant safety and quality standards.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors, negotiating contracts to achieve the best possible terms.
- Provide regular reports on project status to senior management.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in electrical systems and construction management.
Required Qualifications:
- Equivalent experience or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical project management and estimating in the commercial or residential sectors.
- Proficient in electrical systems, including lighting, and cost estimating.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Proficient in project management software and tools.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
