Job Description:
Client is looking for a skilled and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our growing team in Menlo Park, CA. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in automating infrastructure, streamlining CI/CD processes, and maintaining the scalability and reliability of our cloud-native platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and manage scalable, secure, and highly available cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred)
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar
Automate infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
Containerize applications and manage deployments using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS preferred)
Monitor systems and applications using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Datadog, or ELK stack
Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with internal and external policies
Troubleshoot infrastructure and deployment issues and provide root cause analysis
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions efficiently
Required Skills:
5 years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Cloud Engineering roles
Strong expertise in AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, etc.)
Proficient with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or GitLab CI
Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/EKS)
Hands-on with IaC tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or Pulumi
Scripting experience with Shell, Python, or Go
Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, ELK, or Datadog
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude
