Key Responsibilities
- Design, configure, and maintain Splunk environments for data collection, reporting, and analysis.
- Implement monitoring and alerting solutions using Splunk.
- Collaborate with the SRE/DevOps teams to enhance system reliability, performance, and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Splunk-related issues, ensuring uptime and reliability.
- Automate tasks and integrate Splunk with other monitoring, logging, and ticketing systems (e.g., JIRA, JIRA Service Desk).
- Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and data visualizations in Splunk to support business needs.
- Support data ingestion pipelines, and ensure data quality and security.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance platform performance and stability.
- Conduct performance tuning and optimization of Splunk queries and configurations.
- Participate in the development and maintenance of DevOps/SRE-related processes and tools.
- Provide guidance and support for Splunk best practices and troubleshooting.
- Splunk expertise (deployment, configuration, and maintenance).
- Strong knowledge of AWS cloud services and infrastructure.
- Experience with Python for automation and scripting.
- Familiarity with JIRA and JIRA Service Desk.
- Any Splunk certifications are required (e.g., Splunk Certified Admin, Splunk Certified Power User).
- Solid understanding of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) or DevOps principles.
- Experience in system monitoring, log aggregation, and alerting.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a team environment.
- Experience with CloudWatch, Terraform, and Docker.
- Familiarity with containerized environments and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes).
- Knowledge of system performance tuning and optimizations.
- Familiarity with security best practices in cloud-based applications.
