Data Solution Architect Reinsurance
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Location: Warren, NJ
Hybrid Work Model: 3 days on-site
Position Overview:
We seek a skilled and motivated Data Solution Architect with experience in reinsurance to lead the design, development, and implementation of scalable data solutions. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on expertise in MS SQL, Data Modeling, Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), Databricks, and CI/CD pipelines. This role requires strong analytical skills, technical proficiency, and a deep understanding of data architecture best practices to support reinsurance business processes and analytics.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Technical Expertise:
- Proven hands-on experience with MS SQL for database design and management.
- Strong knowledge of Data Modeling techniques and tools.
- Proficiency with Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS), and Databricks for data integration and analytics.
- Experience in building and managing CI/CD pipelines using tools like Azure DevOps, Git, or Jenkins.
- Domain Knowledge:
- Familiarity with reinsurance workflows, terminology, and data requirements.
- Other Skills:
- Solid understanding of cloud architecture, particularly within the Azure ecosystem.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex data-related issues.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in Azure (e.g., Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Data Engineer).
- Experience with other data platforms or tools such as Power BI, Synapse Analytics, or Python for data analysis.
- Understanding of reinsurance-specific regulations and data privacy standards.
