Job Description

The Database Developer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust database systems using SQL Server and Oracle. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of database management and development, along with experience integrating applications through MuleSoft.

The Role

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain database solutions using SQL Server and Oracle to support business applications.
• Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries and stored procedures.
• Collaborate with application developers and other stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for database solutions.
• Implement database security measures, backup, and recovery strategies.
• Monitor database performance and implement enhancements as necessary.
• Assist in the integration of applications and data services using MuleSoft.
• Document database designs, processes, and best practices for future reference.
• Stay current with emerging database technologies and industry trends to ensure best practices.

Requirements:

You are:

• Experience Range: 10 - 15 Years
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Database Developer with a strong focus on SQL Server and Oracle.
• Proficient in writing SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions for data manipulation and reporting.
• Good exposure to MuleSoft or other integration platforms is a plus.
• Understanding of data modeling, schema design, and database normalization.
• Knowledge of data security, data governance, and compliance regulations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with database performance tuning and optimization techniques.
• Familiarity with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra) is a plus.
• Knowledge of ETL processes and tools.
