Job Description
Should have:
- Good understanding of Cloud environments - Google Cloud Platform preferred;
- Solid experience creating/designing CI/CD Pipelines either with Jenkins/GitHub Actions/Harness or any other automation tool for software delivery management;
- Hands-on experience working with Kubernetes (GKE) with focus in running, deploying, and debugging containerized microservice deployments in production;
- Containerization, build docker images and scanning.
- Good knowledge of Google Cloud Platform in general (e.g., GKE, GCS, Logging, IAM etc );
- Background experience in Python, Go Lang or Groovy Scripting;
- Experience working with Terraform, Harness, Hashicorp Vault;
- Experience with metrics infrastructure tools (e.g., DataDog, Grafana,Prometheus);
- Experience with relational databases (MySQL or Postgres);
- Experience with log aggregation tools (e.g., Splunk, Elasticsearch);
- Solid interpersonal and communication skills;
Nice to have:
- Experience in Java application development.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct performance tuning, load testing, optimization of information/data processing, maintenance, and support of production and development environments;
- Design and deploy applications using components of the Google Cloud Platform stack, focusing on high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery;
- Work with developers to troubleshoot, monitor, and optimize microservices to maintain SLOs;
- Build and manage software delivery, systems integration, and developer support tools;
- Serve as a technical expert on the most difficult support and troubleshooting problems
