Lead Automation Engineer

Job Title: Automation Test Lead

Location: Englewood, NJ (Hybrid)

Duration: 12 Months

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead QA efforts in web application and API projects.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product owners and engineering.
• Conduct manual API testing using tools like Postman and Swagger.
• Validate API endpoints, payloads, and responses for stability and reliability.
• Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using tools like Selenium and REST Assured.
• Ensure test automation aligns with Agile methodologies and in-sprint automation.
• Troubleshoot and debug test failures using GIT, JIRA, and Jenkins.

Must-Have Skills:

• Proven experience in API testing and Automation (Web API).
• Strong knowledge of tools like Swagger, Postman, and Selenium.
• Hands-on experience with Java, TestNG, and REST Assured.
• Experience with API automation frameworks.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and CI/CD processes.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Knowledge of performance testing using JMeter.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and tools like Jenkins.

Soft Skills:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with engineering and business teams.
• Proven leadership and mentoring experience.
