We’re hiring a Corporate Accounting Manager to lead our corporate accounting and accounts payable teams, oversee financial reporting, payroll, and compliance, and drive efficiency and automation. This in-office role is perfect for a motivated professional eager to make an impact!
🎯 What We’re Looking For:
🔹 7 years of progressive accounting experience (real estate or public accounting preferred).
🔹 5 years in public, tax, and/or real estate accounting.
🔹 Bachelor’s in Accounting with strong financial analysis skills.
🔹 Proven leadership experience – ability to develop and mentor teams.
🔹 Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and automation.
🔹 Advanced Excel skills (MRI experience a plus!).
🔹 Payroll experience is a bonus!
🔹 What You’ll Do:
✅ Corporate Accounting & Financial Reporting
- Lead and mentor the corporate accounting team to enhance efficiency.
- Manage monthly close processes, including reconciliations, accruals, and intercompany transactions.
- Review and analyze monthly financial statements, variances, and budgeting.
- Drive automation and process improvements to optimize workflows.
✅ Payroll & Accounts Payable Management
- Oversee bi-weekly payroll processing and compliance.
- Supervise Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities.
- Review payroll data, reports, and tax filings for accuracy.
✅ Risk Management & Compliance
- Assist with insurance renewals, workers’ compensation audits, and external audits.
- Ensure internal controls, tax compliance, and financial reporting accuracy.
✅ Strategic Financial Leadership
- Prepare annual budgets, financial forecasts, and tracking reports.
- Support treasury and financial planning initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on special projects and improvements.
