Job Responsibilities
✅ Analyze plans, specifications, RFPs, and RFQs to prepare accurate cost estimates.
✅ Perform take-offs for HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems.
✅ Obtain and evaluate vendor and subcontractor proposals.
✅ Maintain electronic document control and ensure compliance with company policies.
✅ Draft detailed proposals and scope letters for clients.
✅ Collaborate with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams for project success.
✅ Support the pre-construction team with value engineering and risk assessments.
Key Qualifications
🔹 5 years of experience in mechanical HVAC/plumbing construction as a Craftsperson.
🔹 Proficiency in estimating software (QuoteSoft/Express preferred).
🔹 Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
🔹 Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and mechanical/plumbing codes.
🔹 Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings, RFQs, and bid documents.
🔹 Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
