Title: Family Law Attorney (Hybrid)
Location: Hackensack OR Parsippany
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of family law cases, including divorce, custody, alimony, and property division.
- Conduct legal research and draft pleadings, motions, and briefs.
- Represent clients in court, mediation, and negotiation.
- Develop strategies for litigation, settlement, and negotiation in family law matters.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through empathetic and effective counsel.
- Engage in consultative selling of legal services to potential clients, facilitating the contracting process and closing new business to meet firm growth goals.
- Participate in networking and business development opportunities to generate new clients.
Requirements:
- Admission to the NJ bar.
- 4 years of experience in family law.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to explain family law concepts clearly to clients.
- Experience in consultative selling to attract and retain clients.
- Empathy and a commitment to enhancing clients’ lives through compassionate counsel.
