Responsibilities
- Meet/exceed sales targets and revenue goals for the assigned area.
- Serve as a point-person for the Lightweight program, embodying Core Values, and mission.
- Identify and pursue direct OEM opportunities, building strong relationships with new and existing distributors.
- Conduct market research to identify opportunities and understand market conditions.
- Assist in evaluating new products and eliminating underperforming products.
- Collaborate with the geographic sales team, Plant Managers, Corporate Product Group Managers, and Sales/Operation Management to deliver high-quality customer experiences and technical training.
- Work with technical teams in Carmichaels, PA, and St. Louis, MO, providing expertise on fabrication and product customization.
- Actively participate in Sales L10 Meetings.
- Provide voice of customer feedback to the Business Unit Leadership Team.
- Utilize CRM in line with Standard Work for CRM.
- High School Diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 1-3 years of inside or outside sales experience preferred, but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs.
- Strong time management skills and self-motivation.
- Willingness to travel overnight 40-50% of the time.
- Knowledge of product assembly/fabrication and the conveyor belt industry.
- Understanding of the market, customer base, competition, and products in the assigned territory.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
