Role Description
We are seeking a seasoned sales professional with an established book of business to join us as an Outside Sales Representative. This role involves identifying customer freight and logistics needs, negotiating contracts, and closing sales deals. You will also generate leads, provide accurate information about our services, and deliver outstanding customer service.
This position requires frequent travel to assigned territories in the DFW area.
Key Responsibilities:
Identify customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
Travel within assigned territories to generate leads and build relationships.
Closed sales deals effectively.
Deliver exceptional customer service to foster long-term relationships.
Use our CRM tool daily to manage leads and track progress.
Qualifications:
Minimum 2 years of experience in LTL/Transportation sales is required.
Strong understanding of transportation industry logistics and LTL freight movement.
Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
Detail-oriented with ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
Proven skills in conflict management, problem-solving, decision-making, and strategic planning.
Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks.
Thrives in fast-paced high-pressure environment.
Strong knowledge of transportation and logistics industry is essential.
A team player with "whatever it takes" attitude to ensure customer satisfaction and meet company goals.
Will use our CRM tool as daily requirement.
Compensation and Benefits:
We pay 10% commission on gross profit after monthly minimum is met – no ceiling. This means incredible earning potential.
Car allowance and company-paid cell phone.
Weekly pay.
Eligible for suite of benefits 60 days after first day of employment.
401k eligible after 6 months of employment; company match up to 4%. Automatically vested.
