About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Civil Engineer with a focus on land development design. The role involves designing stormwater systems, paving, grading, and utility infrastructure, as well as preparing comprehensive plans, calculations, and reports. This position requires close collaboration with team members, clients, and public agencies to ensure the successful execution of projects.
Responsibilities
- Design land development projects, including stormwater, grading, paving, and utility systems.
- Conduct site inspections and feasibility assessments.
- Prepare detailed project plans, calculations, and reports.
- Estimate project costs and manage budgets.
- Ensure compliance with relevant government regulations and codes.
- Identify and solve project-related challenges, presenting solutions effectively.
- Coordinate with internal teams, clients, and public agencies to meet project goals.
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (required).
- Licensure: Registered P.E. or ability to obtain within 3 years.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years in land development design, including site layouts, grading, stormwater design, utility design, and erosion/sediment control.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, hydrology, and hydraulic modeling software.
- Strong knowledge of relevant codes and regulations.
