Fleet Heavy Truck Mechanic Technician

  • Diagnose and repair light, medium and heavy duty trucks.
  • Able to teardown and rebuild a variety of heavy duty engines and transmissions.
  • Perform D.O.T. inspections and lubrication services on a variety of fleet trucks.
  • Electrical and drivability experience required
  • Welding a plus
  • Experience with brakes, steering, suspension, engine and drivetrain repairs required.
  • Two year certificate from college or technical school; and five year related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Basic computer, writing and communication skills
  • 5 years experience, or better, working on heavy trucks both gas and diesel.
  • Ability to teardown and rebuild heavy truck engines and transmissions.
  • Valid OR or WA driver's license and current clean 3 year driving record
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willing to mentor with other team members to help bolster their skills.
  • Ability to keep work area and equipment clean and organized
  • Interact with fellow teammates in a positive and respectful manner
  • Be reliable and punctual
