Job Description :
We are looking for a highly motivated multitasker with excellent communication skills and an upbeat attitude. Candidates should be able to complete tasks quickly but accurately communicate clearly and effectively with other team members and maintain organized and accurate reports related to case files. The ideal Associate has experience in the daytoday handling of personal injury cases drafting and filing legal documents (including pleadings discovery demands and responses and motions) and attending and preparing for depositions court appearances and mediations. The ideal candidate aims to provide worldclass service in a professional and ethical manner to our clients while working to maximize the resolution of each clients claim. This is a fastpaced and highvolume position
Associate Responsibilities :
- Upholds client and firm confidentiality
- Interacts with clients regularly (at least once every 60 days) to ensure the client is kept informed about events and the progress of their case as well as legal issues
- Performs File Reviews that efficiently advance the case
- Responsible for identifying & complying with statutes of limitation
- Responsible for drafting & filing complaints pleadings motions discovery and responsive pleadings
- Conducts and attends depositions hearings conferences / appearances & mediations
- Maintains utmost professional standards towards the Firm and its clients
