Key Responsibilities :
- Represent clients in personal injury cases, including auto accidents, slip and falls, wrongful death, medical malpractice, premises liability, and insurance disputes.
- Lead litigation, including preparing for and conducting depositions, hearings, and trials.
- Draft and review pleadings, motions, settlement demands, complaints, and other legal documents.
- Develop legal strategies to resolve cases favorably and cost-effectively for clients.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on state and federal personal injury laws and cases.
- Negotiate settlements with insurance companies and opposing counsel.
- Manage a heavy caseload, ensuring all deadlines are met and cases progress efficiently.
- Provide exceptional client service and maintain regular communication throughout the legal process.
- Mentor and collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and junior attorneys.
- Assist in trial preparation and serve as lead or second-chair counsel when necessary.
