A well-established and growing property management firm specializing in affordable housing is seeking a dedicated Regional Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of 7 properties with 552 units . ABOUT THE ROLE
The Regional Property Manager will be responsible for the daily operations, financial performance, and overall management of the assigned portfolio. The role requires a strong understanding of affordable housing programs , compliance requirements, and financial management to ensure properties operate efficiently and within budget. This position will report to the Assistant Vice President and collaborate with internal teams, external housing authorities, and other stakeholders.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the daily operations of the assigned portfolio, ensuring compliance with all regulations and company policies.
- Maximize Net Operating Income (NOI) by implementing effective cost control and revenue-enhancing strategies.
- Minimize vacancies by overseeing leasing strategies, resident retention efforts, and marketing initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with affordable housing regulations , including Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC), HUD-Section 8, and Rural Development programs.
- Provide leadership, training, and performance management to on-site property managers and staff.
- Develop and manage annual budgets , monitor financial performance, and implement cost-saving measures.
- Foster strong relationships with local housing authorities, vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders.
- Participate in quarterly meetings, training programs, and annual conferences to stay updated on industry best practices.
- Conduct regular site visits to ensure properties are maintained according to company and regulatory standards.
