Key Responsibilities and Required Skills:
We are seeking an experienced Linux Administrator with strong technical expertise and a proactive approach to system management. This is an onsite, long-term opportunity located in San Francisco or Los Angeles, CA.
Core Requirements:
- Extensive Linux Administration Experience across multiple distributions such as Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), CentOS, Ubuntu, and Debian
- User and Group Management, file system configuration, and general system maintenance
- Skilled in Linux CLI and shell scripting (Bash, Python, Perl) for automation, system administration, and troubleshooting
- Proficient in monitoring and performance tuning using tools like Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, Datadog, or CloudWatch
- Solid experience with virtualization technologies and containerization (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Hands-on knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform)
- Strong grasp of automation and configuration management using tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in the automobile industry is a plus
