Job Title: Communications Network Engineer III
Clearance Required: TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph
Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Communications Network Engineer III to join our team supporting critical global communications infrastructure. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in LAN, CAN, and WAN systems administration, network performance monitoring, and resolving complex IT infrastructure issues in a secure, mission-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor, analyze, and troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues.
- Manage the performance and configuration of global networks and systems.
- Perform general LAN/CAN/WAN administration tasks.
- Schedule conversions and cutovers; coordinate with all responsible users and sites to resolve system or network incidents.
- Monitor, track, and evaluate global Information Technology Infrastructure (ITI) incidents.
- Translate business requirements into telecommunications solutions, including LAN, CAN, WAN, Voice, and Video systems.
- Conduct in-depth engineering analysis of telecommunications alternatives for government customers.
- Coordinate telecommunications services for installations and maintenance.
- Resolve technical problems related to performance, capacity, and configuration.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of ten (10) years of relevant engineering experience on projects of similar scope, type, and complexity.
- Education: Master’s degree in Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
- In lieu of a Master’s degree, a Bachelor’s degree plus an additional four (4) years of experience is acceptable.
- Demonstrated experience in secure government or military environments is strongly preferred.
Clearance Requirement:
- Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph is required for consideration.
